Good ideas to help worthwhile causes and raise funds for Groton Community School Groton Community School (GCS) invites the public to help raise awareness about breast cancer and the issues surrounding homelessness and to help support education at GCS by purchasing Designs by Lucinda® Pins. Pins are on sale at the school throughout the year, and are also available during our annual Groton Community Home Tour. Several themes/styles are available. The sale of all Lucinda’s Breast Cancer pins at GCS will benefit The Virginia Thurston Healing Garden in Harvard, MA. All other styles support GCS fundraising efforts.

Designs by Lucinda® Pins We have a large selection of Designs by Lucinda ® pins on display and available for purchase:The Story After two years of being homeless, Lucinda Yates created a simple pin in the shape of a house as a fundraiser for the homeless. The pins were a huge success. Not only did they raise money for a local homeless shelter, but more importantly they created a greater awareness for the issues surrounding homelessness. Nineteen years later Designs by Lucinda has helped thousands of non0profit organizations raise millions of dollars to create positive change in people’s lives.
