GCS children and families collected for the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry for the week of Halloween.  It was so nice to "treat" families in need to nutritious breakfast foods!

Groton Community celebrates peace with children, families, and the community. We honor our commitment to peace with our Peace Pole, and peace activities to inspire a sense of belonging, compassion, friendship and community with our local and our world community.

Children of all ages kicked off Autumn with Groton Community School by decorating mini pumpkins provided by local farm stands at Grotonfest.

Hard-working volunteers for the United Way Day of Caring.  We are grateful to local businesses for lending  employees to us for the day.  A very special project was the installation of our school's "Peace Pole"!

On September 11th, the Groton Community School Kindergarten Class led  other preschool classes in a "Kindness, Peace, and Love Day" ceremony to commemorate the day, by raising the American flag and singing about the hero in us all.

Children and Staff helping to load a moving van full of donated beds, car seats, and books for the Lowell Wish Project "Beds 4 Kids" Program. GCS Families and Staff also raised enough funds to purchase 10 beds for local children.

The Aqua Room Class presented the Groton Public Library with their class project, the Groton ABC Book on their Field Trip to the library.

The Big Room Children and Staff joined the Groton Newcomers and Friends in a ollection of "youth baskets" for local seniors.
