Breakfast “Treats” and Pajama Day Fun!
We are sponsoring school-wide Pajama Days on Monday, October 31st and Tuesday, November 1st as part of our Halloween Happenings. We like to celebrate Halloween at school, but realize that some young children may be afraid of costumes without Mom or Dad at their side. For fun and excitement, we opt to wear our PJs at GCS! Festive activities are even more fun in pajamas.
One of our goals for children here at GCS is to be kind and helpful to others. We would like to “treat” some local families to a healthy breakfast by donating non-perishable breakfast items to Loaves and Fishes, our local food bank (No glass containers, please). A breakfast food drive is a wonderful addition to our Pajama Days. Decorated boxes will be located in each classroom. Suggested items are cereal, breakfast bars, pancake mix, maple syrup, muffin mixes, packages of oatmeal, peanut butter, and canned or dried fruit. Please help us teach children kindness and caring for others, and bring donated items between October 24th & November 2nd.
