“My Grown-up and Me” (MG&M) is an interactive program with music, movement, and creative activities designed for young children accompanied by a favorite adult!  Come share in simple songs, musical instruments, creative movement, stories, and creative art projects with your child.  MG&M offers a fun opportunity for young children to exercise gross motor skills, explore their senses and imaginations, enrich their language development, and make first friends, in an informal introduction to group activities.

We enjoy a school year filled with creative activities designed for young children and adults, too!  Classes are held on Friday mornings from 9:00 to 10:30 AM in eight-week fall, winter, and spring sessions.  Please contact us for information about availability.

What Our Families Say:

parachute play“The My Grown-up and Me program is a fabulous introduction to preschool! Lisa does a wonderful job of weaving music, sensory, imaginative play, art and story-time all into 75 mins of fun! It is amazing how well she connects with the children and makes everyone feel comfortable and welcome. I highly recommend this program for any child who is ready or almost ready for preschool. It made the transition to preschool seamless!”

“My twins and I loved going to My Grown-up and Me last year, with amazing new activities for the kids (ages 2-3) and parents (or other caregivers!) to explore each week, from painting by driving little cars to decorating and planting in flower pots to take home. My kids adored Lisa, and she ends each class with special music and story time for extra dancing and cuddles! It was a great way to meet other children and their grown-ups, and helped prepare all of us for preschool this fall!”

“Lisa does a terrific job of introducing younger children to GCS with My Grownup and Me.  The combination of circle time, story time and free time to explore the activities, sensory bin and art area is perfect.  It offered us a sneak peak into how the school feels as a student before we registered for preschool, gave us some great ideas for activities and projects we could do at home, and we met some new friends!  It was a great experience for both of us!”
